Ollie Fröhlich from Ox-Fanzine compared the band on Snowblind with the band Naked City, with Le Scrawl not only incorporating jazz, but "something like easy listening jazz with occasional ska interludes or hippiesque interludes leading to grindballs". styleĪccording to the band's Myspace page, they were heavily influenced by Grindcore before trying to incorporate other styles such as jazz, ska and swing. In 2010, the next album Snowblind followed through Obscene Productions. This was released in 2008 by Ecocentric Records. In May 2007 the band recorded the EP Whiskey a Go Go! Again with Harris Johns. Then the band is performing in their California Tour and on the Obscene Extreme in Trutnov. In addition, the DVD Full Frontal Nudity was released, which was also mastered and mixed by Johns. Together with producer Harris Johns they recorded the EP Eager to Please in March and April 2003, which was released in 2004 on Life Is Abuse and RSR. Guitarist Mario Anders had given up the job of electric guitar and instead took over that of singer and bassist. Following the release of the compilation, the occupation of the group, after which it was composed of drummer Peter Weiss, keyboardist Michael Kautzsch and guitarist Simon Weiss changed. The band had previously changed its name in 2002 by Scrawl Le Scrawl to non-American US with an indie band who had the same name to be confused. The CD was released on the Life Is Abuse label, while the LP was released on Regurgitated Semen Records (RSR). After a few years' break, the compilation Too Short to Ignore followed in 2003. For one Split release in 1998 with the name Rotten Fake together with Agathocles and Seven Minutes of Nausea, the band recorded various cover songs. In 1994, a self-titled single on Psycho Mania Records followed, before the EP Q was released in 1995 on Ecocentric Records. After the group with four songs on the sampler I Kill What I Eat of Ecocentric Records was heard in 1993, appearances followed with Anal Cunt, Agathocles and Cripple Bastards. In 1992 the band recorded their first three demos.

Keyboard player Michael Kautzsch joined the cast in 1991. The band was founded in 1989 under the name Scrawl by guitarist Mario Anders and drummer Peter Weiss.
